Spot checking team availability for training sessions

Coaches
This is not an ideal line of communication. We certainly do not have the manpower to look over your shoulder to make sure that you are following the rules of COVID. We respect each of you and believe that we have outstanding coaches. We're asking you to lean in and help us control what we can control. It's certainly not what we want to be checking in on but the excuse cannot be "I didn't know."
After spot checking some teams for training sessions this week, there's a few teams that have 1 or more players that have not identified if they are attending training. You have to make sure this is a priority. There are no exceptions! You are putting yourself and your team at risk.
If you have a player that does not provide their availability, they are not allowed to train. It's that simple. We have to be able to track attendance. It's the first line of defense. Please understand that you will be better prepared if you have availability at 100% checked.
Please do not take this as a stance for believing or not believing the reality of COVID or that we are for or against masks or social distancing. It really has zero to do with an agenda but it does have to do with simply being responsible and proactive. We'd rather play offense then defense.
Thanks
